Young Wolves Test State Competition!

Coach Harold Huff has the young running sensations peaking at the right time for this week-ends State Cross Country Meet at Sun Willows Golf course in Pasco.  The Wolves, who took a close 2nd in the District championships last week-end, are sending 7 girls to Pasco.  Freshman Stephanie Marcy led Sequim's district finishers taking 5th place.  Marcy was followed by junior Tara McCallum (15th), and freshman Jennifer Tripp (16th).  Sophomores Valerye Huff and Natalie Jones, and freshmen Jennifer Bruce and Kathleen Shoemaker round out the talented team.  McCallum, Jones and Huff received State experience last year and Coach Huff wants the courageous ladies to simply improve on last years results, while being part of the exciting team that should make Sequim proud.
