With 26 swimmers and 1 diver, Sumner was able
to capture five 1st.
Sequim competitors swam and dove great today.We placed 1st in the 200 Medley relay, 50 free (Jeff
Thompson), diving (Andy Broders), 100 free (Phillip Riolo), 200 free
relay, 100 back (Jake Brantley), and 100 breastroke (Jeremiah Jackson).We had many new personal bests, predominantly our newer swimmers.
Our next meet will be January 21 at Bainbridge
against them and North Kitsap.
Swimmers Open Season
Dec 10 - Sequim Boys swimmers opened the season with a meet in which
Jake Brantley took first in the 50 and 100 free, with a personal best of
24.08 in the 50. Sequim took 2nd in 7 of the remaining 12
events. The new swimmers in the program, which are over half of the
team, gained valuable experience.
Port Angeles won the meet 140-60.
